1995 XV750 disk brake thickness

Post by gusll » Tue Feb 25, 2020 12:21 pm

Can you help me with your experiences about the actual thickness of the front disc brakes for the Virago XV 750 1995. According to the Clymer manual the thickness should be 7mm. Page 54. But I measured the thickness in the part where the pads don't even touch the disc, AND gives 5 mm?? Exacly the thickness for other years AND models, including the xv1100.
Thanks for any clue that can help me.
