A few Yamaha 1982 Virago XV750J parts

Post by Rob » Fri May 22, 2015 11:59 pm

I don’t have much. Some parts off a 1982 Yamaha Virago XV750J. Just the header pipe that comes out of the front cylinder and the stock seat. Plus I have some clutch parts. I know the steel clutch plates are good and I have some if not all of the basket. I will go out to the garage tomorrow and take some pictures of everything. Once I get some pictures up, I will put up some good descriptions of what the parts are, and the condition they are in. :) Peace!

Still have some parts left. I have the bike torn down pretty much all the way. I just took pictures of what is left. I will try to get them up this evening if possible. So darn busy just not enough time in a day lately. :?

Selling main frame section and Clean Title for $150 or best. Good if you have a bike you cant title. Just listed alot of these parts on ebay. I will beat pretty much any price on ebay so get ahold of me if you need any of whats left. Sad Sad day tearing that bike down. Them Jardine ehaust pipes are in excellent shape and hard as hell to find. Ill take $120 OBO on those. Everything else is pretty cheap. Listed front and rear rims and tires on craigs list for $70. tires in great shape. rear comes with swingarm and rear drive components.

Make a fair offer. Pretty sure I can fit it all in a MED flatrate box so shipping should be under $10. You just want the caliper off the front wheel correct? Plus the bat box and horns. Horns cleaned up nicely when I shined them up. Bat box has all the grommets, bolts, and the brake light switch. Caliper worked fine but it needs paint. FIgure in $9 or so in your offer for shipping. You are pretty close so even if it doesnt all fit in the flat rate I can still ship priority to there for close to that. I can make a listing on ebay for the 3 items and give you the link. Excuse my french but Ebay and Paypal are fee whores.. lmao doesnt matter though it makes buying and selling a bit safer.

You should make yourself a webpage for the parts you are making. Throw a paypal link on there and you can fulfil the instant gratification folks. Seems nowa days people impulse purchase alot. Get you a site together with a simple paypal checkout and youd make more sales i'd bet. If you need a hand with this let me know. Be a 1 day project getting you online.

Almost forgot. A note on the horns. They werent working well before I cleaned them up. Kinda kicking in and out. When I cleaned them I tore them apart and after that they started working fine. Dont know if it was dust in there or what that had them cutiing in and out. They are dusty inside again though so you might have to clean them inside before using them. Just plug them up before mounting them to see how they sound.

Heya. I sold the entire exhaust system but I had a front header that was chrome from the original exhausht the guy gave me with the bike. Soon as I get back to Clio I will see if I still have it. My step dad scrapped some steel we had lying around though so it might be gone. I will let you know by tomorrow when I stop back in there.

Been real busy taking care of my dad. He is in rough shape. I'm basically doing what a nurse would.... not something I want to do but it is my dad and I am the only kid able to take care of him. Thats the truth of it. Still getting used to the yucky stuff.. LOL never had a strong stomach for things.. LMAO He is getting better though just very slowly.

If I have the header pipe still you can have it. Just cover shipping. The chrome on it was decent if I remember right. Just needs good cleaning. Take care Choppin. Peace.
