1991 XV1100 Changing to yellow bulb (Kampen, Netherlands) (CLOSED)

I believe the stock bulbs we use are H4 60/55W, correct?

Now, I have a bright white one and want to change it to yellow. I don't drive in the rain or any other bad type of weather, so it's just for the looks of it.

but they state the wattage is 100/90. Should I worry about that?

Yup, unless the previous owner changed it to something else. The wattage is labeled on the bulb when you remove it.

You know how hot your H4 60/55 gets. Do you think the wiring in your headlight bucket can withstand the additional HEAT? I've never used a bulb with those wattage's. Your decision on this one.
