DIY Carburetor Sync. Tool [INFO]

2nd Generation Virago Carburetor Synchronization Tool

Every try to Synchronize those carbs with an offset screw driver that keeps slipping out of the adjustment screw slot, sure you have!

Here is a much easier method to turn that adjustment screw back and forth and not have it slip. The adjustment screw hex head is 7mm's. If you should have a 1/4 inch drive socket set with a 9/32's or better yet a 7mm socket which will fit over the 7mm hex head screw. This is what you will need:

1.) 9/32" 1/4" drive socket or 7mm socket
2.) 1/4" drive universal
3.) 1 or 2, 1/4" drive extension pieces to reach the adjustment screw head approx. 10 1/4"s
4.) 1/4" drive breaker bar

Total length of mine that fits is 10 1/4"s.

Of course, a manometer to observer which way the tool needs to be turned to get the carburetors in Sync.
