Thanks to all who have helped! We have until end of March to pay for the server. As of right now we are only about $160 short. So we are very close. I'm sorry I can't cover it but my personal situation is bad bad. Ride safe if it's warm enough out where you are because it has been freezing here in Michigan. Take care of yourself and yours.

1981 XV750 Help to identify spoked wheel (Sweden) (CLOSED)

Post by SimonH » Thu Mar 16, 2023 5:13 pm

Hello,

I bought an unfinished project in the form of a Yamaha XV750 1981 a while back. The previous owner had changed the wheels to spoked wheels but a few bits are missing here and there. I am struggling with the rear wheel at the moment. The spacer and the eventual washer are missing between the bearings and I am looking for one to install, the problem is that I do not know where this wheel comes from. Is it possible that any of you can identify the wheel in the attached pictures so I can buy the correct spacer?

Simon,
Spoke wheels were only available on XV700's: 1984 thru 1986 for the U.S. Market.
For other countries of the world, I have no idea. Sorry.

Joe
