Hello Rune,

A lot of virago parts are interchangeable. There have been changes made from one model year to the next. We'll call these upgrades with no physical appearance. Some upgrades are not backward comparable in some cases. And folks find this out without doing a little research themselves to find that after they have purchased the part, it doesn't fit. But I digress.

However, I just wanted to bring that up. This is why model years are so important. Since you haven't provided any model years for either the XV750 or XV535, we'll have to wing it.

I myself haven't done any wheel swapping, but have heard of others who have. Some have taken spoke wheels from a 1986 XV700's and placed them on other XV models. Usually the bigger XV's. Note: XV700's rear wheels have two flavors Cast and Spoke wheels. Cast wheels are 16 inch rims, Spoke wheels are 15 inch rims for this 1986 XV700.

Looking at a 1987 XV535 Specs, you would need for the Rear a 140/90-15 inch tire and Cast wheel.
Yup, XV750 has that.

Looking at a 1987 XV535 Specs, you need for the Front a 3.00 S-19 inch tire and Cast wheel with single brake disc.
XV750 has a 19 inch front wheel, (tire size comes later). You can remove the left side disc (due to dual front brake discs). Will the right side brake disc lineup with your brake caliper w/o modifications on your XV535 (that I don't know). As I mentioned prior, I've never swapped wheels before. Are axles and hubs compatible (I don't know). Good chance they are. Without model years, it can't be researched easily. Also note: that the front tire 3.00 S-19 is considered an antique reference as tires go. We need to know the tires aspect ratio (The aspect ratio is the height of the sidewall expressed as a percentage of the width of the tire). How much clearance is required to clear the front fender (mud guard). What is the current front tire size on your XV535? It may have been replaced with the newer metric labeling and will take the guess work out.

Sorry, this is about all I know about swapping wheels.

Others on the site with XV535 may have already done this conversion and can chime in.

From what I can tell. 3.00 S-19 are still available for your XV535.
Bridgestone and/or Dunlop still produces them and other tire manufacturers.

3 inches wide.
"S" = Speed rating 112 MPH.
19 inches Inner Diameter.
