Standard Tools should work fine, except for needing J.I.S. screwsdrivers (Japanese Industrial Standard).
For anyone playing at home and also in Brisbane, I found a JIS compatible Screwdriver at sydney tools after going to every tool shop I could find. Whilst it says its a PH2 the packaging shows its also a JIS2.

For the more stubborn screws on my xv250 I resorted to using this with a PH3 bit which worked wonders.

"Japanese engineers developed their own cross-point design similar to that of the Phillips®. The Japanese cross-point drivers also have the self-centering and quick tool and screw engagement, however the “JIS” (Japanese Industrial Standard) design allowed torque and over-tightening to be controlled by the operator and not at the head of the screw.
This key difference is why Phillips screwdrivers cannot properly engage "JIS” (Japanese Industrial Standard) screws."
Vessel is the leading supplier of J.I.S screwdrivers and accessories to remove and install J.I.S. screws.

(J.I.S.) Screwdriver. For removing those pesky high torqued JIS screws. However, I am surprised that it has a Phillips PH2 head. I believe that with a hard hammer blow bearing down on the screw head will not allow the cam out affect to take place.
