Thanks to all who have helped! We have until end of March to pay for the server. As of right now we are only about $160 short. So we are very close. I'm sorry I can't cover it but my personal situation is bad bad. Ride safe if it's warm enough out where you are because it has been freezing here in Michigan. Take care of yourself and yours.

Oh thank you, it's a fuel/air problem as everything electrical checks out. The spark plugs are new but never wet while trying to start it. I can only get it to run off kiltered by blipping the throttle. The moment I stop even with idle screw almost all the way in, it dies immediately. I appreciate your experience and time on the matter.

Renegade,
Update your profile to include your state information.

What do you mean by, everything electrical checks out, please elaborate on whet you've tested and test results.

Since you've been in the carburetors, please elaborate on what you have done, part replacements, adjustments, etcetera. What are the carburetor fuel level heights (use the clear tube method). Consult your repair manual. Take pictures and post them. Indicating which is front and which is rear fuel levels. Do this on the center stand.

What makes you feel that it may be a fuel/air problem?

Take pictures of your Spark Plugs electrodes and post them. Label which is front and which is rear.
Brand of S/plugs, Id nbr, and gap settings for both.

I've had an old bike mechanic friend of mine come over and double check my work as everything is set to factory specifications atm. Plugs are new ngks set too factory specs, I rebuilt the carbs and use the tube method as seen in pics below. What I meant by everything electrical checks out I meant verification of the fuel pump working properly, run/stop switch, coils/ spark in both cylinder, starter. I did finally get it started with my buddy last night and he said the front cylinder is loaded up from when the float needle stuck before the rebuild and flooded the entire cylinder (I checked for gas in crankcase but there was none thankfully) which is why I got the auto fuel shut off that was mentioned in the forms.

I really appreciate you guys and your responses to get Ole Betty back on the road.

Fuel levels look good.

If the front cylinder were flooded as your friend stipulated. You would be hydro locked on that cylinder and the starter wouldn't be able to turn the engine. You can compress fuel vapor, however, not a liquid. If that cylinder were full of fuel, you would know it right away when the starter button was pressed. And if you got lucky nothing would get damaged.

Keep your Ole Bike Mechanic close by and you'll have ole Betty up and running soon.
Sounds like you are on the path to success. Good luck to you guys!

Thank you very much. Ya it was flooded to the point of gas leaking from the bottom of exhaust pipe and making a puddle (pre carb rebuild). After removing carbs right away to take a peak, fuel was level on the carb engine port so I soaked up as much as I could with paper towels. Whenever I got to the point of trying to start it a week later, it shot the excess fuel out of the tail pipe mixed with carbon so I have a nice pattern of a billion black dots AL over my lift an blower that was back there. That's what confirmed my buddies theory to me about the cylinder still being loaded an needing to be cleared out on the highway.
