========================================================
Jitters,
Please, update your profile to include your bike information with City and Province you are in, in Canada. Thanks
How to post pictures. When in edit mode like I am right now typing you this reply. Down at the bottom of the edit screen you'll see (Save Draft), (Preview), and (Submit).hotNot sure hot how to post photos but I could if someone can help me there
Under those 3 choices you'll see two Tabs (Options) & (Attachments)
Click "Attachments"
Then you will see (Files) Click on it.
It will go to your computers hard drive. Go to the folder where you have pictures stored.
Pick a Picture File Add it. It will load with "Place Inline" & "Delete"
Before you select "Place Inline" Move cursor back into the edit window above. Click where you would like the picture to appear in the document you will be posting.
Move your mouse pointer back to "Place Inline" and click it. The picture file will now appear where you anchored your cursor.
I also split your topic from the other one one.
Click “Preview” to see what it will look like.
Then scroll back down to the edit window to continue with editing.
Easy Peasy.
Jitters,
I also split your topic from the other one, for he didn't end up buying that 1982 XV920. Your good information would have just gotten buried.

Jitters,
Could you supply some information on where you obtained the Meter and some information on how you went about installing it and wiring it up. I'm sure other 1982 XV920J owners would be most interested.
Thanks a bundle.
Joe

Meter is an Amazon special (not expensive at all)
Has cable connection for speedo so no conversions and I followed wiring diagrams and cycom removal threads to wire it up and the individual warning lights.
So sorry for such a delayed response was not aware of the request.
