Thanks to all who have helped! We have until end of March to pay for the server. As of right now we are only about $160 short. So we are very close. I'm sorry I can't cover it but my personal situation is bad bad. Ride safe if it's warm enough out where you are because it has been freezing here in Michigan. Take care of yourself and yours.

1983 XV500 Outdoor find, should it be junked or repaired? (New Jersey)

Hi Folks! I have an 83 XV500 that has been sitting outside under a pine tree for at least 20 years. It ran very well prior to being parked, but now it is a lump of rusting parts and decay. I don't have a lot of time to take care of it, as I am already taking care of a Disabled Wife, so funds are short. If anyone wants it, I would be happy to part with it. It just needs to be picked up in New Jersey. Just contact me at donhef@juno.com if you want to take it off my hands.

I also sent you an email but figured I might as well reply so others can see. I also have a 83 xv500 that I’ve started restoring, one of the last pieces I need is the left plastic cover. I would greatly appreciate it if you’d let that piece go for some money.

Thanks, John
