hi peeps
need some fork tubes for the 535 anyone had any dealings with Chinese copies, they will only do low mileage, can't seem to find reasonably priced secondhand ones.

damo,

Check ebay and other sources for replacement forks they're out there and you can avoid Chinese knock offs.

Had a friend in the vintage bike world who had pitted fork stanchions, which could not be replaced. he cleaned and treated the rust with chemical treatments and filled the pits with old fashioned tinmans solder, and rubbed the soldered
surface down to give a finish for the seal should give you more time to find replacements

got a set of flea bay for £60 wasnt holding out much hope, but they were overly critical in there description a light rubbing down and there on and working fine , word to the wise the fork tube caps on the non caliper side was seized on both sets , this may be a common problem.
