Heel shifter ["NO LONGER AVAILABLE"]

Post by choppin » Wed Jul 15, 2015 12:19 pm

I am making a heel shifter that can be attached to the stock shift arm with no modifications. Works on all xv 84 and up with standard foot controls. I sell these for $25.00 plus shipping. If anyone is interested please PM me and get the details for shipment and payment.

Great Shifter!!

Thanks Choppin, your shifter is excellent. I installed it on my Virago two days ago 7/14/15. Don't know how I got along without it. No more, SOAR TOE syndrome. Minimal downward heel pressure is needed to up shift.

I highly recommend this shifter to anyone who is considering on obtaining one. Easy installation. Sturdy robust design. This is a value added item for any Virago owner.

More than satisfied!!

This is how it looks on the bike:

I think the chroming will make it look like it was purchased with the bike. Cosmetically appealing.

However, the black looks good too! Like I said before, love this little sucker. You don't know what you are missing until you put it on. To me, it up shifts smoother with your heel than with your toe up shifting. Just an easy downward motion and click you are there with the next gear.:D
Also, easy to adjust for different footwear.

Just an update on the Heel Shifter by Rich a.k.a. (choppin).

I have been using this Heel shifter for a little over a month. Now that I am totally use to using it. I really don't know how I got along without it. If you folks are considering getting one. Get it!! Believe me, you will not be disappointed! :D

I have a heel shifter for the 1st Generation bikes now. Same price $25.00 plus shipping. It will no doubt fit other models with the standard shift levers. The shifter lever does not come with the heel shifter.
