Oh, and it wasn't the speedo cable it was also the brake fluid line I had to replace

I had a 1982 Honda Silverwing that had a straight bar like yours. As I remember I had to change the throttle cable, clutch cable and the speedometer cable, to put on the Buckhorn Bars

Den, Yep, Joe knows all you need to know most times and yep I also being a lazy critter believe in If it ain't broke don't fix it. I do however believe in regular Maintenance. Like oil/filter changes, Valve adjust, etc. Since 1954 I have only had a mechanic fix one problem. And that was to repair a ...

I thank Y'all for the Rapid replies. I could have stayed with the High beam portion of the bulb for daytime riding, but do occasionally ride on warm summer nights and need low beam for oncoming traffic.

1994 XV535 Headlight bulb low beam burned out. Factory bulb is about 60-65 bucks by the time shipment and tax are added. And traveling to the closest Yamaha dealer is worse due to mileage. Local auto supply stores say that the 9003 bulb is a replacement also for the H4. And 2 0f the 3 key slots line...

Well, I do know that you can't get the Fork Tubes back in unless your damn close to center. And thanks for that URL, I will give it a lookee.

Handlebar centering

Had to take the forks off because one was leaking. Took them to a local mechanic that will do them for me for 1 "C" note. Just wondering if anyone has a good method of centering the handlebars after re-installation?

I had already ordered a used one,and got it today. But I will go ahead and rebuild the old one for a spare. Or to give it to some member that may need one.

About a week ago I found my front wheel brake Caliper leaking brake fluid all over my wheel/tire. So I looked at the manual and it stated that it was best to replace it as one needed special tools and the knowledge of a full fledged mechanic to put a rebuild kit in.
