Thanks to all who have helped! We have until end of March to pay for the server. As of right now we are only about $160 short. So we are very close. I'm sorry I can't cover it but my personal situation is bad bad. Ride safe if it's warm enough out where you are because it has been freezing here in Michigan. Take care of yourself and yours.

jsyzdek, Thanks for the battery information update, good to know. Glad you are here. No one knows batteries better since you work with them on a daily basis. I like your idea with the big heat sink. Here is what I did. Doesn't dissipate heat like yours will: R-R with HEAT SINK SIDE VIEW 20171116_093...

Re: 1996 XV1100 Off Road/Trail/Eduro Tyres (United Kingdom)

Hi, ViragoJoe. I think you could be right in this regard. While a few have turned them into Cafe Racers, I'm more of an Apocalpse Marauder myself that needs to be both Off Road and on wen the need arises. lol. But I'm specifically drawn to V Twin Thumpers, Feet Forward taking in the views. I'm also...

Re: 1996 XV1100 Off Road/Trail/Eduro Tyres (United Kingdom)

Hi all, what a great find this site is. I've a 96 xv1100 that I'd like to put enduro style tyres on. So far I'm struggling to find many 15" in the correct profile. has anyone used different sytel/size tyres to good effect on their 15" rim? I've heard of some using the XV700 hub or that of the 535 b...

Re: 1981 XV750 Regulator/Rectifier Testing (Southeast CT)

Thanks for the video. I checked my rectifier and stator and they test OK. The problem I had with testing the rectifier by the service manual was that they didnt mention to set the meter to diode and they give pass/fail criteria as continuity or discontinuity, so I was using resistance, not the diod...

Re: 1981 XV750 Help to identify spoked wheel (Sweden) (CLOSED)

Hello, I bought an unfinished project in the form of a Yamaha XV750 1981 a while back. The previous owner had changed the wheels to spoked wheels but a few bits are missing here and there. I am struggling with the rear wheel at the moment. The spacer and the eventual washer are missing between the ...
