I'm alive and so so, fresh out the hospital, again. About to do backend updates. A big Thanks to everyone who helped me. Times are still rough so instead of me the site will need small hand this year. Got about 2 months for hosting fees to arrive. 2 options, donations or putting ugly ads back to registered members(which I abhorred). Lets see what happens. I'm starting 2 months off because I know I wont be able to foot the bill this time. In a month if it looks bleak I'll readd advertising sitewide as it's only remedy. Thanks to the past and current supporters.

Yeah. Winding roads are where I belong :) https://youtu.be/LNerABMAKmI?t=153

I love your signature BTW. That ride was "together" and yeah, I can't go too fast with my lovely passenger

In the front: yes. The front turn signals double as parking (position) lights.

In the rear: those should be single-filament bulbs because they are only working as turn signals. The parking light function is shared with the brake light bulbs.

I'd probably try JB Weld to fill out any dips or missing material. If you have any pictures, please post them.

Re: 1990 XV750 LED bulb issue (bristol UK)

I wonder if you have a similar issue as the one reported here: https://viragohelp.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2366 could be a grounding issue. Some LEDs are bipolar, some will only work one way. And some will do weird stuff sometimes. But it could be that something's wrong with the turn signal(s...

Re: 1983 XV500 Blinker issues and Fuse? (Ottawa Ontario)

speaking out of my @$$, based purely on a hunch: could be a loose connection, could be a grounding issue. Or both. Idea: get a voltmeter and connect it "permanently" to the battery (so that you don't have to hold the probes as you work). Start the right blinker, see what the voltage does. Start the ...

Re: 1990 XV750 LED bulb issue (bristol UK)

If you have a spare 12V battery, or a power supply, it'd be worth trying to power the LED up and see if it acts out. An adjustable power supply is a good tool because you can also observe in real time if the current draw oscillates or stays steady. It would be worth checking is the old (halogen) bul...
